When you nominate, share a short but powerful blurb that highlights why your nominee is a true leader—someone who stands out in business or community spirit. Categories like Business of the Year, Home-Based Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Rising Up for Youth, and Community Builder will include a short follow-up questionnaire for nominees to confirm the details you’ve shared.

Important: All nominations must be submitted using the official nomination forms. Only forms that include the nominator’s contact information will be accepted.

This award recognizes a business that thrived for over three years, showcasing resilience, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

This award celebrates the achievements of home-based businesses, excluding contractors and industrial ventures.

This award recognizes businesses that have operated for less than three years yet have demonstrated remarkable achievements and potential for future success.

This award recognizes businesses consistently delivering outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. To be considered for this accolade, businesses must meet the following criteria (storefront or home-based)

This award recognizes an exceptional and committed individual who has been a Houston community resident for at least two years.

This award honours an individual who works with youth to foster their success. (Not for Youth).
