HHS has an active Board committed to working collaboratively to support our vision of supporting any members in our community during their end-of-life journey so that no person or family feels alone or ill-equipped.
Houston Hospice Society provides the following services:
- Grief and Bereavement Support: Trained HHS volunteers provide grief and bereavement support for individuals and their families in a supportive and confidential environment.
- Respite Services: Trained HHS volunteers provide respite services to support caregivers or ensure individuals with limited support are not alone during end-of-life.
- Equipment Loan Library: A variety of equipment, including mattresses/beds, wheelchairs, commodes, walkers, bath stools, and lounge chairs, is available for loan to individuals choosing to remain home at the end of life.
